Our neighbourhood events are targeted at young adults in the age range of 18 - 35.

If you're young at heart or even in the life stage of poly, JC or NS, we welcome you to join us.

Friendzone started as an initiative for young adults, and we believe that you’ll gain a lot from meeting other young adults through our events!

Sometimes, partners we work with want to prioritise first-timers and thus there may be an option to register as a “First timer” or “Returning Participant”.

We seek your understanding if we are unable to accommodate your registration so we can welcome first-timers to join our events! 💖

Generally no, as our focus is on building young adult communities and want to help this group of participants connect. There are other initiatives for older or younger participants; and we encourage you to seek those out!

Sometimes we are able to make concessions, but do write in to clarify.

For neighbourhood events, usually have la.

At the end of events, you can be added into your neighbourhood’s telegram chat if you’d like to get connected with other young adults who live in your neighbourhood!

At events, we encourage you to exchange contact details as far as you are comfortable (e.g. social handles/ phone numbers) to stay in touch with the people you meet.

Community is yours to create! So do your part to strengthen the friendships you’d like to keep :)

The former is for people who live within the same neighbourhooods. The latter is open to everyone in Singapore!

We generally do 1 - 2 events at each neighbourhood/year, so if you miss your neighbourhood’s event, just gotta wait.

Open to all events happen more frequently, but they also sell out fast. Fastest fingers first!

In open-to-all events, we sometimes group participants with those people who live in your region/neighbourhood (subject to sign ups).

If you’re a young adult ages 18-40, AND work in that specific sector, we welcome you to join in to get to know others!

If it’s free, it means someone else has paid for it (like our awesome partners and sponsors!) and thus you can attend for free!

If it’s a paid event, it means that Friendzone is organising it because we think it’s an important cause/topic/event and there are operational costs to cover such as venue, manpower, marketing & logistics. Thus, the cost of your ticket goes directly towards helping to cover such costs!

It depends on whether the event has a F&B sponsor or not! Usually for paid events, there is no F&B provided.

Generally vibes are better, people are more authentic and there’s more time to get into deeper conversations with one another.

Ways to work with fz events can be scoped around:

1. Decide the target audience (e.g. students/ working adults, women, sector, neighbourhood, age range etc)

2. Decide the topic of conversation (e.g. success, mental wellbeing, family, relationships, friendship, adulting etc)

3. Decide the model and what you need us to do (e.g. ticketed, fully sponsored, marketing, registration, programme design etc.)

Based on past experiences, the entire process will typically take 1-4 weeks. it really depends on how fast your side can get approvals too!

If you need us to do design work and market to your target audience, we can do that!

If you need us to procure catering, venue location, and AV equipment we are certaintly able to do so!

If you have access to the above and would prefer to handle those logsitics, go ahead - that will also cut down the cost.

Friendzone will provide logistics related to the programme such as conversation cards, table stands, pens and mentos.

Community facilitators help to facilitate a conversation & the formation of friendships for a small group of 3-5 pax at our events! Sometimes these events are paid and sometimes they’re not depending on the event type.
